APIARY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Staff

Erin is passionate about reimagining school as a place where every student is seen, known, and supported to grow, not just academically, but as a whole person. This vision is what led her to the Montessori approach, which aligns deeply with her belief in self-directed learning, student agency, and purposeful, developmentally aligned education. By integrating Montessori principles with research-based instructional design, Erin has created a learning environment at Apiary that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

With advanced training in cognitive coaching, systems thinking, and continuous improvement, she founded Apiary to cultivate a school community rooted in belonging, curiosity, and student voice. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently completing her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at the University of Northern Iowa.

At Apiary, Erin leads with both heart and strategy—fostering a learning environment where educators thrive, families are true partners, and students are prepared to navigate a complex and changing world with confidence and compassion.
